Specialist Oncology - Puglia e Basilicata

GSK is hiring a Product Specialist Oncology to provide medical information in the specialist oncology area in the Puglia and Basilicata region. The role reports to the commercial and medical management and works closely with the oncology BU.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate and up-to-date information on GSK oncology products to hospital pharmacists and healthcare professionals.
• Collect and report information on suspected adverse reactions to the Pharmacovigilance Manager.
• Ensure effective and consistent communication with healthcare professionals, planning and organising science information activities in line with the oncology BU plan.
• Collaborate with the medical management, regional payers and evidence solutions, KAM and RAM, marketing and commercial management.
• Promote and explain the value of GSK products to all relevant stakeholders, communicating key scientific messages.
• Identify scientific information needs of hospital pharmacists and healthcare professionals and propose training/updated scientific initiatives.
• Contribute to the implementation of the Key Account Action Plan for the territory in a collaborative manner according to the national strategy.
• Ensure all activities are performed in line with GSK ethical and compliance standards and all legal requirements.

Qualifications

• Degree in Medicine, Biological Sciences, Chemistry, Pharmacy or equivalent (see Decreto-legge 219/2006).
• Proven experience as a Product Specialist in a specialist area with innovative products.
• Experience in oncology.
• Ability to translate scientific knowledge into business‑oriented strategies and activities.
• Location: Puglia (Bari or Lecce preferred).
