A technology consulting firm in Turin is seeking a Software Validation Engineer to validate automotive infotainment systems. The role involves creating and executing diverse test plans, validating software for telematics, and collaborating closely with development teams. Ideal candidates should have experience with embedded systems and strong knowledge of automotive protocols such as CAN and J1939. This is a contract position requiring onsite presence in Italy.

Mansioni

  • Validate In-Vehicle Infotainment (IVI), Telematics, and Instrument Cluster software.

Conoscenze

Experience with Embedded systems (Linux, AUTOSAR, Android)
Strong knowledge of Automotive protocols: CAN, J1939, UDS
Hands-on experience with Vector tools: CANalyzer / CANoe / CAPL
Experience with SIL testing and regression automation
Knowledge of vehicle networking (TCP / IP, Ethernet)
Familiarity with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth technologies

Job Description : Overview

We are looking for a Software Validation Engineer to work on Truck Infotainment systems. The role focuses on system-level validation of the Cockpit Domain Controller (CDC), covering Infotainment, Telematics, and Instrument Cluster.

Key Responsibilities
  • Validate In-Vehicle Infotainment (IVI), Telematics, and Instrument Cluster software
  • Create and execute component, system, and integration test plans
  • Design test cases based on system and component requirements
  • Perform testing using SIL, test benches, and vehicles
  • Execute functional, integration, and regression testing
  • Identify, analyze, and track defects using DevOps tools
  • Work closely with development teams for root-cause analysis and issue resolution
  • Prepare test reports and provide feedback to validation and quality teams
Skills & Experience
  • Experience with Embedded systems (Linux, AUTOSAR, Android)
