A leading media and entertainment company in Milan seeks a Junior Project Manager to coordinate data and analytics projects. Responsibilities include managing the project lifecycle, collaborating with various teams, and ensuring deliverables meet quality standards. The ideal candidate has 2-5 years of experience in project management, strong communication skills, and familiarity with Agile methodologies. This role offers an opportunity to leverage data to enhance customer experiences and drive decision-making processes.

Competenze

• 2–5 years of experience in Project Management or Business Partnering in Data or Digital environments.
• Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies is preferred.
• Understanding data concepts (Data Warehousing, Big Data platforms) is preferable.

As a Junior Project Manager you will lead projects for Sky Data at Sky Italia.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate data & analytics projects ensuring deliverables are on time, within budget and meet quality standards.
• Manage the project lifecycle from the concept, feasibility to the final deployment and adoption, including benefits/performances’ monitoring phases, tracking progress and key milestones.
• Collaborate with Business units and Data & Tech teams to ensure clear communication and alignment.
• Support the application of Data Governance best practices during the project planning and execution.
• Define, assess and monitor plan, risks, issues, dependencies, escalating when necessary.
• Prepare and monitor projects’ budget, tracking costs and reporting variances to keep projects on target.

Skills/experience

• 2–5 years of experience in Project Management or Business Partner, preferably in Data or Digital environments.
• Good communication skills.
• Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Understanding data concepts (Data Warehousing, Big Data platforms) is preferable.
• Proficiency in MS Office and project management tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project).
• Experience in project financial management (budgeting, cost tracking, variance analysis).
• Basic knowledge of data security and compliance.
