A leading global e-commerce company seeks an Operations Manager for its Sort Center in Milan, Italy. The ideal candidate will manage a team, oversee operational budgets, and engage in long-term planning to drive performance and quality initiatives. A bachelor's degree is required along with significant experience in operations management. The role emphasizes flexibility and leadership within a dynamic work environment, ensuring both safety and productivity objectives are met.
Operations Manager Sort Center, Worldwide Operations

Our Sort Center operations represent a strategic connectivity to reach our vision. Our Site Leaders are responsible for all safety, budgetary, people development, and operations objectives for an entire building. Responsibilities include managing and leading a team of Operations and Area Managers, coaching and mentoring the team to ensure performance objectives are met, building positive employee relations, and building leadership bench strength within the SC.
You'll be based at one of our operational sites. Spending lots of time on site will help you develop your team and collaborate on operational planning. This role has two sides : you’ll manage and motivate a team of leaders and, at the same time, focus on long‑term objectives. This includes creating contingency plans to keep operations running and mitigate against disruptions and driving initiatives that boost quality, safety and productivity. You’ll be a source of accountability and a business‑wide champion of best practice.
