Responsibilities
  • In this key position, you will manage strategic transformation in the future of our service business as a Service Program Manager (m/f/d). You will be responsible for the effective execution of a critical project portfolio globally. You act as a central interface between teams, management, and customers, ensuring that quality, safety, and efficiency are always maintained.
  • Oversee a portfolio of interdependent programs and projects, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives while facilitating prioritization, resource planning, and execution to maximize value and long-term benefits in close collaboration with senior leadership.
  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of one or more large-scale, cross-functional programs, establishing the execution approach and overseeing handover, planning, and monitoring activities for both internal and external resources to accomplish program and project goals. Maintains and enhances portfolio reporting, dashboards, and performance metrics and supports portfolio governance processes including gate reviews and benefit tracking.
  • Define program scope, goals, timelines, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders, ensuring integrated planning and coordination across project teams. Lead and manage individual projects and work packages when required, ensuring timely delivery, quality, and alignment with program and organizational goals.
  • Drive the implementation of the service strategy in the designated area, by defining detailed objectives, key results, and milestones of strategic initiatives in collaboration with service management and monitoring the progress of related activities. Ensure alignment with other strategic initiatives. Manages stakeholder communication, status reporting, and program governance, ensuring transparency and alignment throughout the program and portfolio lifecycle.
Qualifications
  • Degree in a technical or business-related field, providing a solid foundation to navigate both operational and strategic aspects of global service programs.
  • Several years of proven track record in project or program management within a service-driven environment, ideally with exposure to international operations and transformation initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, lead, and execute large-scale, cross-functional, and international projects, ensuring alignment with business strategy, quality standards, and customer expectations.
  • In-depth knowledge of portfolio management, process optimization, and governance frameworks, including performance tracking, benefit realization, and gate review processes.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and SAP, complemented by solid knowledge of quality management, occupational health and safety (OHS), and technical service support best practices.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to influence, engage, and align diverse stakeholders while driving change management.
  • Structured, team-oriented, and customer-focused working style, ideally supported by a recognized project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2), ensuring consistent and disciplined execution.
