LANXESS Italy is currently seeking strong, motivated, and talented individuals with sales and technical experience for the position of Senior Sales Manager - Material Protection Products (MPP BU).

Location:

Italy (travel expected within Europe)

Main Responsibilities:

• Develop customer strategy and business cases to ensure growth in BU MPP Sales Biocides for the Industrial Business line.
• Lead sales efforts in Italy and Greece, maintaining and expanding customer portfolio, providing technical and regulatory support, and identifying new opportunities.
• Visit customers to assess needs, promote products, provide training, and conduct hygiene audits.
• Collaborate with technical marketing, R&D, regulatory affairs, and sales teams; negotiate prices and targets.
• Provide sales forecasts, contribute to budgets, monitor market trends, and communicate market insights internally.
• Oversee local MPP Industrial business line activities and team management.

Knowledge and Experience:

• Master's Degree in Chemistry, Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 10 years of successful sales experience in the chemical industry.
• Knowledge of the industrial biocides sector and experience with biocides.
• Experience in team management or coordination.
• Willingness to travel within Italy and the EMEA region.
• Native Italian speaker with excellent English skills.
• Strong communication and presentation skills; result-oriented working style.
