A leading engineering company is seeking a Procurement Specialist to manage complex orders and negotiate contracts. With 10–15 years of experience in procurement, you will be the main commercial contact for suppliers. Responsibilities include leading RFQs, managing orders, and supporting project teams. The ideal candidate is fluent in English, has strong negotiation skills, and proficiency in SAP. This permanent position is based in Italy - Milano.

Competenze

  • 10–15 years’ experience in procurement, materials management, or planning.
  • Ability to manage high-value, complex orders independently.
  • Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office; knowledge of Lean practices.

Your Responsibilities
  • Lead RFQs, negotiate terms (including PTC), and award purchase orders.
  • Manage orders through full lifecycle: expediting, logistics, and issue resolution.
  • Maintain accurate ERP data and communicate status to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Project Procurement Manager, Category teams, Supplier Quality, and Logistics.
  • Monitor KPIs, perform root‑cause analysis, and identify cost‑saving opportunities.
  • Support and coach less experienced buyers.

Your Profile
  • 10–15 years’ experience in procurement, materials management, or planning.
  • Degree in engineering, finance, or business (or equivalent experience).
  • Fluent in English; strong negotiation and communication skills.
