Job Description:

A highly respected and structured IPP is seeking an experienced Project Construction Manager to oversee the delivery of utility-scale solar PV projects in Northern Italy. Based in Milan or Rome, you will report directly to the Head of Construction and play a key role in managing medium-voltage (MV) solar projects from pre-construction through to commissioning. These sites are anywhere from 5MW to 10MW in size.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead day-to-day site operations, ensuring project milestones, quality, safety, and budget targets are met
  • Manage subcontractors, site teams, and construction partners
  • Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and permitting teams
  • Monitor progress and report regularly to the Head of Construction
  • Ensure compliance with Italian construction regulations and grid connection requirements

Requirements:

  • 5+ years’ experience in solar PV construction, ideally utility-scale projects
  • Strong knowledge of MV electrical systems
  • Experience working for an IPP
  • Fluent in Italian and English
  • Willingness to travel to project sites across Northern Italy
