A leading international company located in Gallarate, Italy, is seeking an experienced accountant to maintain the integrity of the general ledger, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and support audits. The ideal candidate has 5/6 years of accounting experience, proficiency in IFRS/GAAP, and strong communication skills in English and Italian. This position offers a maternity cover contract with flexible working hours.

Competenze

• 5/6 years of accounting experience, with solid exposure to GL and month-end activities.
• Knowledge of IFRS/US GAAP.
• Proficient in English & Italian.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and Excel.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Mansioni

• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts on a monthly basis.
• Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.
• Ensure all transactions are recorded accurately and in compliance with accounting policies.
• Oversee fixed assets accounting and depreciation schedules.
• Support consolidation processes if part of a group structure.
• Collaborate with FP&A, Treasury, Tax, and other finance functions.
