Senior BI Specialist

We are looking for a Senior Power BI Specialist who will be based in our Brugherio (MB) offices, with a hybrid work model.

Your Responsibilities

• Build advanced dashboards, reports, and data models using Power BI to support business decision-making.
• Connect, transform, and model data from multiple sources (MS Fabric, SQL databases, APIs, cloud services) ensuring accuracy and consistency.
• Implement best practices for DAX queries, data modeling, and report performance tuning.
• Work closely with business analysts, data engineers, and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into actionable BI solutions.
• Apply row‑level security, manage workspaces, and ensure compliance with data governance policies.
• Maintain clear documentation for data models, processes, and BI architecture; enforce development standards.
• Guide junior developers and power users contribute to knowledge sharing within the company.
• Stay updated on Power BI features and recommend enhancements to existing solutions.

Your Profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, information technology or similar.
• Proven track record of at least 8 years of work experience in roles related to BI reporting and analytics, with at least 6 years of experience in Power BI.
• Experienced in multinational and geographically distributed work environments.
• Certification in Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst.
• Advanced proficiency in Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, and Power BI Gateway.
• Strong knowledge of DAX, Power Query (M), and data modeling principles.
• Experience with SQL and relational databases; familiarity with ETL processes.
• Understanding of data warehousing, star / snowflake schemas, and data architecture.
• Ability to interpret complex business requirements and translate them into efficient BI solutions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
