Descrizione del lavoro

Based in Grenoble (FR) and Milan (IT), iNGage is a start-up company which is bringing to market disruptive high-performance MEMS inertial sensors (accelerometers, gyros, IMUs) and pressure sensors for GPS-free navigation in autonomous mobilities.

With a patented breakthrough technology developed at CEA-Leti in partnership with PoliMi, we push the limits of high-performance MEMS navigation sensors to make them accessible to high-volume applications such as industrial robotics and automotive.

Responsibilities:

As an Analog/Mixed Signal Circuit Design Engineer , you will have a central role in the development of cutting-edge analog circuits for MEMS interfaces.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Analog/Mixed Signal circuit design, simulation, prototyping and testing: Develop analog circuit architectures, including amplifiers, filters, converters (ADC/DAC), phase locked loops (PLL), signal conditioning circuits, voltage regulators, etc.
  • Specification and modeling: Contribute to drafting technical specifications with the architect and modeling the analog behavior according to product requirements.
  • Simulation and validation: Perform simulations (Spice, Cadence, etc.) to verify circuit performance and optimize designs based on the results.
  • Interdisciplinary collaboration: Interact with MEMS, digital, and system designers to ensure the optimal integration of analog into the final product.
  • Prototyping and testing: Participate in prototyping and laboratory test campaigns for functional validation and performance characterization.
  • Innovation and technology watch: Propose innovative solutions to meet new challenges in MEMS and analog domains and stay informed about the latest technological advances.
  • Documentation and reporting: Write technical reports and design documentation, ensuring that development processes follow industry best practices.

Desired profile:

  • Degree: Msc or PhD in electronics, microelectronics, or a similar field.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of experience in analog/mixed signal circuit design (CMOS, BiCMOS) in the semiconductor industry or a design house.
  • Language skills: Proficiency in English (written and spoken) is essential, Italian is preferred, French is a plus.
  • Expertise in analog/mixed signal circuit design in CMOS or BiCMOS technologies, with strong proficiency in simulation tools (Cadence, HSPICE, etc.).
  • Experience in analog and mixed signal modeling with hardware description languages as Verliog-A or SystemVerilog.
  • Experience with MEMS analog interfaces is a significant advantage.
  • Knowledge of IATF16949 and ISO26262 standards applied to circuits is a plus.
