A leading medical services provider in Italy is seeking a Senior Accountant Financial Reporting based in Gessate. This full-time role involves managing financial reporting activities and coordination with team members and auditors. Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and have over 5 years of experience in similar roles. Proficiency in Excel and strong knowledge of IFRS & IAS are essential. The position supports a hybrid work model, providing an opportunity to work flexibly.

We are looking for a Senior Accountant Financial Reporting with knowledge of the English language, who will be based in Gessate, MI and work in a smart‑working/hybrid environment.

The ideal candidate will report directly to the Country Financial Controller and will manage all reporting activities for the Italian entities, collaborating with all other functions of the Italian finance team. The role will be the primary contact for Group HQ and auditors and will coordinate two dedicated resources in the Intercompany and Capex departments.

Your main responsibilities

• Integration and coordination of all financial reporting processes;
• Direct management of financial closing (accruals, IFRS 16);
• Coordination of the Capex and Intercompany subfunctions (2 resources);
• Management of all IAS/IFRS GAAP with the primary delta principles;
• Support to FP&A for monthly closing analysis and monthly analytical review;
• Active participation in annual budgeting, with preparation of specific information;
• Active support for mergers & acquisitions, applying delta principles.

Your main requirements

• Holder of a Bachelor’s degree in Economics (or a similar field);
• At least 5+ years of experience in a similar role or as an auditor in a Big‑4 firm;
• Strong practical skills in the Office suite, particularly Excel;
• High level of IFRS & IAS knowledge;
• Proactive, goal‑oriented, with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills;
• Ability to work effectively in teams.
