Teaching Activities: The selected candidate will teach courses on the main topics of Solids and Structural Mechanics, in the linear and nonlinear regime, at various scales, also taking into account multi-physics phenomena.
Scientific Activities: The selected candidate will carry out scientific activities along the main research lines of the Materials and Structural Mechanics Section of the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, and more particularly: mechanics of materials, metamaterials and innovative structures at various scales, multi-physics phenomena for materials and structures, materials and structures with smart components, such as those using, e.g., piezoelectric and/or other active or biological materials.
