Job Summary:

As a sales associate, you will be the face of our company. You will highlight our brand and image while contributing to building our reputation as a company that values its customers and their opinions. You will be responsible for assisting customers and helping them recognize the need for our products and services. Must be capable of learning about what we sell and articulating our purpose in an educational, insightful, and professional manner. Have a positive and outgoing nature that enjoys serving others and making a positive impact on the organization.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. CUSTOMER SERVICE
  • Proactively engage and connect with customers.
  • Ask questions and listen to customers' needs.
  • Direct customers to merchandise and inform them about upcoming events, promotions, and mobile offers.
  • Provide premier customer service through the STAR card program.
  • Build positive, inclusive, and respectful relationships; take accountability for your actions and outcomes.
  • ORGANIZATION
    • Maintain store appearance.
  • SALES
    • Cross-sell products and know the store layout.
    • Make suggestions based on customer needs, current trends, and promotions.
    • Upsell products.
    • Learn product features, stay updated with trends, and use company tools to confidently provide product knowledge.
    • Use the Point-of-Sales system for transactions, including cash handling, discounts, gift cards, and credit/debit processing.
    • Complete paperwork, reports, and reconciliation as needed.
  • INVENTORY
    • Be responsible for merchandise, perform inventory processes, and ensure proper check-in and ticketing.
    • Participate in periodic inventories.
  • DEPENDABILITY
    • Adhere to work schedules and follow through on assignments accurately.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications:

    • Basic product knowledge.
    • Retail experience preferred but not required.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to read, write, and interpret instructions.
    • Basic math skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division.
    • Ability to multi-task, work as part of a team, and take initiative.

    Physical Demands & Work Environment:

    • Constant movement, talking, hearing, reaching, and standing for extended periods.
    • Occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, and ladder climbing.
    • Visual abilities include close, color, and depth perception, and focus adjustment.
    • Lifting at least 25 lbs, up to 50 lbs in some departments.
    • Work indoors or outdoors depending on location.

    Work Hours:

    Availability to work varied hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

    Additional Information:

    This position is open to U.S. citizens who are Active Duty Members and family of U.S. Military or Civilian personnel assigned to Naples, Italy. Applicants must submit all required documents listed, including passports, permits, military IDs, and other relevant paperwork, before application consideration. No experience required; high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
