Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:
  • Supervises and coordinates daily restaurant operations, ensuring excellent service and guest satisfaction.
  • Supports the Restaurant Manager in staff scheduling, training, and performance management.
  • Monitors service standards, ensuring that all food and beverage service meets hotel quality requirements.
  • Assists in training and coaching team members to enhance service skills and professionalism.
  • Handles guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests in a courteous and efficient manner.
  • Ensures compliance with hygiene, safety, and operational policies and procedures.
  • Collaborates with kitchen and bar teams to coordinate smooth service and timely delivery of orders.
  • Monitors inventory levels, assists in stock control, and reports any shortages or discrepancies.
  • Participates in daily briefings, team meetings, and required training sessions.
  • Maintains a professional appearance and demeanor at all times, setting an example for team members.
Core Competencies:
  • Fluent in English and Italian. Must communicate clearly and professionally with guests and team members.
  • Previous experience in restaurant supervision, ideally in hotels or luxury hospitality.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, able to motivate and coordinate staff effectively.
  • Able to work under pressure in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexible with scheduling to meet operational needs.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities efficiently.
  • Knowledge of hygiene, safety, and food & beverage service standards.
  • Maintains a positive, approachable, and professional demeanor at all times.
  • Must hold the required authorization to work in a European country.
