ApartmentsFlorence.it is looking for an exceptionally friendly and enthusiastic salesperson to be part of our young and fast growing team. We are Florence’s leading vacation rental property management company with more than 400 vacation homes in the city centre.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Freely using your great personality and creativity to sell the value of renting our beautiful vacation properties via phone, email and in person.
  • Provide information regarding vacation rental homes and availabilities to current and prospective guests over the phone, via email and in person.
  • Coordinating relationships and reservations with various Higher Education Organizations in Florence as a Housing Supplier.
  • Confirming reservations for vacation rentals via phone, skype and email; confirm online bookings with guests.
  • Processing reservations, including sending reservation and confirmation emails and running credit card charges as well as maintaining communications with guests prior to arrival, during their visit and after departure.
  • Long Term lease agreement consultancies including finding and pricing options, organizing visits with guests and finalizing sales.
  • Provide concierge assistance to guests regarding services, recreation, restaurants and other activities.
  • Negotiating Guest Customer Service Problems.
  • Observe established policies and procedures.
  • Requires visits to vacation rentals with customers and to better know what to sell.
  • Perform other job duties including marketing using Internet and Social Media or other property management functions as requested by supervisor.
  • Meet sales goals as they are communicated.
  • Knowledge of revenue strategies will be a plus.
Desired Skills and Experience
  • Previous selling / reservation / customer service experience is a plus.
  • Analysis capacity.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills are a must as ability to work in a team.
  • Local knowledge of Florence.
  • Advanced English and Italian speaker, other languages advantageous.
  • Availability to work shifts to provide cover from 9.00 - 19.00, 7 days per week, 365 days per year.
  • Strong organizational skills, the ability to multi-task and to work under pressure.
  • Internet, Skype, and knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills required, friendly and courteous.
  • Excellent communication skills – both oral and written.
  • High level of motivation, determination and commitment.
  • Rights to work in Italy.
  • Availability to start soon advantageous.

Compensation is a mixture of Salary Plus Commission if budget is achieved.

Office located in Florence city centre.

Shifts

Our business is open 7 days a week, 365 days a year and we care about our staff and their quality of life.

We anticipate that your shift will be similar every week in order to allow you to plan your life.

Currently the shifts are as follows:

  • Monday to Friday 9.00-18.00, 10.00-19.00
  • Saturday and Sunday 9.00-18.00

Currently our staff work up to 5 of these time slots during the week.
