A prestigious educational institution is seeking a Research Assistant in the School of Chinese Medicine. This full-time position involves supporting a government-funded smoking cessation programme, project implementation, and stakeholder engagement. Responsibilities
  • Involved in a territory-wide, government-funded Chinese medicine smoking cessation service programme.
  • Assist in project implementation and liaise with various stakeholders.
  • Provide operational support, project evaluation, programme coordination, and perform other duties as assigned.
  • Collaborate closely with the Principal Investigator and multiple teams.
  • Work flexibly, including outside office hours.
Qualifications
  • Registered healthcare professional, registered social worker, or holder of a Bachelor’s degree in Public Health.
  • At least 3 years of post‑graduate work experience in public health, medical services, or social services.
  • Prior experience managing government‑funded or large‑scale community health promotional projects preferred.
  • Expertise in Chinese medicine clinical services for smoking cessation highly preferred.
  • Strong organizational, multi‑tasking, and communication skills.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese.

The appointment will commence as soon as possible on a temporary basis until 31 March 2027.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
