The ideal candidate will have expert-level Linux administration skills and deep knowledge of Metal-as-a-Service and bare-metal automation. Competenze

• Deep expertise in Metal-as-a-Service (MAAS) and bare-metal automation.
• Strong Linux background with experience managing large-scale infrastructures.
• Startup or hyper-growth experience is a strong plus.

Mansioni

• Maintain and support core infrastructure systems with deep knowledge of Linux.
• Work with BIOS, IPMI, RAID setups, and hardware-level diagnostics.
• Design and maintain networks using VLANs, routing, VPNs, especially UniFi equipment.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and operations with Ansible, Bash, and Git.
• Manage observability stacks for metrics and log centralization.
• Build tooling for server discovery and config auto-generation.
• Integrate and develop internal APIs for resource allocation.
• Deploy and maintain virtualization systems like OpenStack and Proxmox.
• Support container-based workloads effectively.

Conoscenze

Expert-level Linux administration

Strong MAAS / Ironic / bare-metal automation experience

Excellent networking fundamentals

Infrastructure as Code (Ansible)

Scripting with Bash / Python

Experience with monitoring and logging tools

Comfort with custom deployment automation

Familiarity with resource tracking and API integrations

Proven experience with OpenStack
