Job Description Summary

The Regional Planning & Logistics Supervisor - EMEA is responsible for generating optimal distribution plans for RLT products for the EMEA Region. This includes balancing risk and cost in the based on the available production capacity on each day and line. This position will also be responsible for supplier management activities such as CAPA investigations, supplier risk assessments, qualification and validation activities and implementation of logistics projects in a timely and accurate manner and in accordance with global/local SOPs and GxP regulations.

Job Description
Major accountabilities
  • Develop an optimal distribution strategy with proactive planning, appropriate lead-time, to ensure compliance and continuity of RLT supplies, with a strong emphasis on Customers’ needs, data integrity and accuracy.
  • Maintain close collaboration with Country level stakeholders and Global SC teams, including the RLT Control Tower and order management teams, and applicable manufacturing sites teams to develop processes for the optimal distribution of RLT products.
  • Identifies, assesses, and proactively communicates distribution risks and elaborates contingency plans as appropriate with proper mitigation strategies to ensure distribution continuity.
  • Work with suppliers on routing plans to improve performance metrics, including on-time performance, customer satisfaction, and reduction in cost.
  • Lead action plans to achieve delivery performance targets and drive for continuous improvement.
  • Develop processes in a cross functional manner related to the improvement of logistics operations.
  • Responsible for quality events, investigation on incidents, CAPA implementation, qualifications and validations, implementation of SOPs, Change Control management and risk assessments relating to logistics processes jointly with partner functions.
  • Coordinate with Production and Quality departments to ensure the relevant activities are completed in line with the production needs.
  • Ensure compliance with GMP, regulatory and quality requirements and within area of responsibility.
Essential requirements
  • Scientific/Engineering/Supply Chain Management degree.
  • Previous solid experience in a similar role within the supply chain/logistic/planning environment of a global organization.
  • Fluent in Italian and English.
Desirable requirements
  • Previous experience within the Healthcare industry.
  • Familiarity with supply chain, planning and logistic of radioactive drugs or similar time critical operations.
