About The Job

ProductLife Group (PLG) is a dedicated life sciences outsourcing and consulting company. The group has its HQ in Paris and affiliates around the globe with teams in all key regions: North America, Europe and APAC. We are currently on the lookout for a Regional Marketing Specialist in Italy. The role can be based in Milan or Rome with a hybrid work model in place.

Role Overview

As a Regional Marketing Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in executing localised marketing strategies that align with global objectives. Operating within a matrixed environment, you will collaborate closely with sales, sales operations, and global marketing teams to drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and revenue growth in your designated region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute digital marketing campaigns across social media, email, and advertising platforms to promote service offerings, company insights, and events. Regularly analyse and report on campaign success metrics.
  • Oversee regional social media channels, create engaging content, and respond to audience interactions to enhance brand presence.
  • Act as a super user for marketing platforms such as Pardot, managing email campaigns, website updates, and analytics. Lead the use and optimisation of tools for webinar hosting and project management of all webinar‑related activities.
  • Coordinate event logistics in collaboration with the global events director, serve as a point of contact for internal teams and event organisers, and provide on‑site support as necessary.
  • Ensure all marketing content is current and consistent across local channels. Maintain detailed tracking and calendars for all marketing activities to enhance planning and coordination.
Required Experience & Skills
  • Degree in Marketing.
  • 5+ years of experience gained in similar roles ideally within a matrix environment.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage several projects at the same time.
  • Knowledge of digital communication platform processes and tools (emailing, webinar…).
  • Good knowledge of various communication channels (social media, events, advertising).
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and marketing analytics.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing platforms and CRM systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
Soft Skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross‑functional team environment.
  • Strong writing, editing, proofreading capabilities are mandatory.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, particularly the ability to work effectively with a wide variety of upstream and downstream partners in an international environment.
  • Proficient in both Italian and English.
