A leading engineering consulting firm in Rome is seeking a Radar System Engineer to develop and optimize radar technologies for defense applications. The ideal candidate has a Master's Degree in Engineering and at least 1 year of experience in radar theory. The position offers hybrid work flexibility with 2 days of remote working per week.

Overview

As part of the development of Abylsen Italy, specialized in IT, Transport (automotive, aeronautics, defense, space and rail), Heavy Industry (metallurgy, steel plant) and Energy, we are looking for a Radar System Engineer in the defense sector to integrate our team of consultants and bring your expertise on all our projects.

Main activities

• Develop and optimize radar signal processing algorithms
• Design and implement radar system hardware and software
• Conduct performance analysis and validation of radar systems
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate radar technologies into defense systems
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations

Requirements

• Master's Degree in Engineering or technical disciplines
• At least 1 year of experience in the role
• Knowledge of radar theory and technology
• Knowledge of system architectures for short- and ultra-short-range air defence in the land and naval domains
• Theoretical and practical knowledge of the ‘system engineering’ process
• Excellent knowledge of the English language
