A leading engineering company in Lecce is looking for a Quality Assurance Specialist to manage customer claims and improve internal processes. The role includes handling Quality issues, facilitating communication between departments, and conducting trend analysis on quality metrics. Ideal candidates should have a technical degree, relevant experience in Quality management and claims, and be fluent in English and Italian.

Competenze

  • 2-3 years of experience in Quality Department and Claims management.
  • Good knowledge of mechanical drawing.
  • Experience working with Suppliers.

  • Manage and handle Customers Quality issues leading the problem solving process.
  • Coordinate the team during root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Monitor and report KPI and provide trend analysis.

Summary : This candidate will manage customer and internal claims, being the link between the Customer and the Operations departments and managing Quality Assurance and Quality topics.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and handle Customers Quality issues leading the problem solving process and releasing reports (8D Report, A3 Report, Chicago, 5 Why, etc), by coordinating the team during root cause analysis, definition and implementation of corrective actions, until the effectiveness verification and the closure.
  • Manage the link between Customer and Operations departments by improving the Quality Assurance and internal processes with team.
  • Monitor and report KPI and provide regular trend analysis.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma with a technical specialization or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing Engineering
  • Previous 2-3 years of experience in Quality Department and in Claims management
  • Good knowledge of mechanical drawing
  • Experience working with Suppliers
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Process improvement and Quality Assurance
  • Statistical knowledge
  • English and Italian language is mandatory
  • Problem solving skills
  • Driving for results and measurements capability
