Un'autorità europea per la sicurezza alimentare cerca un Assistente Python Developer per la Data Integration Unit. Sarai responsabile di supportare la migrazione dei dati legacy a un'infrastruttura cloud, sviluppare script Python per l'automazione, e gestire l'integrazione dei dati. È richiesta una buona conoscenza dell'inglese (C1) e competenze in Python. Si offre un contratto di 3 mesi con possibilità di estensione e modalità di lavoro ibride.

Competenze

• Ottima conoscenza della lingua inglese.
• Ottime competenze in Python.
• Esperienza pregresse in ingegneria dei dati o sviluppo software.

Mansioni

• Supportare la migrazione a un nuovo sistema di gestione dei dati nel cloud.
• Sviluppare e ottimizzare script Python per l'automazione.
• Supportare l'integrazione dei dati da più fonti.

We are looking for a Python Developer Assistant to work in the Integrated Data Unit.

Retribuzione annua : 28000€ - 34000€

Requirements :

• Excellent knowledge of English (at least C1 level)
• Excellent knowledge ofPython
• Experience withPysparkis considered an asset
• Previous experience insoftware development, data engineering and / or database management
• Behavioural competencies : ability to work with others, analysis and problem solving, drive for results

Assignment :

initial contract of 3 months, with possibility of extension. Expected duration of assignment 12 months.

Salary : approx. €2259 per month before taxes.

Work modalities :

office work is required on at least 2 days per week. Remote work is possiblewithin 2 hours from EFSA's premises in Parma, Italy, for the remaining days.

• Support the migration from legacy data collection and database systems to a new cloud-based data management infrastructure
• Develop and optimize Python-based scripts to automate data validation, transformation and migration
• Support the integration of data from multiple sources into unified and reusable database
• Conduct testing and quality assurance of the new environment
