A leading AI consulting firm is seeking a Public Policy and Language Specialist to translate and adapt complex policy frameworks for AI training. Candidates must be fluent in both Italian and English, with a strong background in public policy, communications, and writing. This remote position expects a commitment of 20+ hours per week over a 2-month contract. Ideal for those with 2–6+ years of relevant experience and a degree in a related field, offering competitive pay ranging from $40 to $60 per hour.

Position Details

• Location: Remote
• Duration: 2 months
• Commitment: 20+ hours/week

Responsibilities

• Translate, adapt, and synthesize complex policy frameworks into clear, structured rubrics for AI training.
• Write fluently in both Italian and English, ensuring accurate terminology and nuanced expression across languages.
• Provide cultural and policy insights unique to the public in Italy.
• Work closely with reviewers and peers to refine content.
• Leverage public policy expertise with bilingual communication skills to create accurate, culturally nuanced content.

Qualifications

• Must-Have
  • Native-level fluency in Italian with strong written and spoken English.
  • Degree in policy, political science, sociology, or similar field.
  • 2–6+ years of experience in politics, public policy, think tanks, etc.
  • Excellent writing, analytical, and communication skills. Experience in policy writing, instructional design, or academic publishing.
• Preferred
  • Experience with grading, instructional design, or rubric development.
  • Familiarity with generative AI models or machine learning concepts.
