A leading international contractor is seeking a part-time Religious Education Coordinator at Aviano Air Base, Italy. The ideal candidate will design and implement a comprehensive religious education program, manage volunteers, and coordinate with chapel staff. A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required along with strong organizational and leadership skills. All resumes should be submitted in English.

Location: Aviano Air Base, Italy

Position: Part-time

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement a comprehensive Protestant religious education program in partnership with the Protestant Chaplain
• Recruit, train, and oversee volunteer teachers and assistants
• Organize and lead Sunday School, youth ministry, Vacation Bible School (VBS), and seasonal programs such as Advent and Easter events
• Develop and distribute curriculum and learning materials for children, youth, and adults
• Plan special events such as retreats, discipleship training, and community outreach initiatives
• Maintain and update program records, registration lists, and volunteer schedules

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor\'s degree in education, theology, or a related field OR at least five years of experience leading a Protestant religious education program
• Strong organizational, leadership, and volunteer management skills
• Ability to work independently while coordinating with the Protestant Chaplain and chapel staff
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic administrative tools
