PROJECT MANAGER

The Project Manager oversees cross‑functional teams and timelines to ensure that Mechanica Sistemi's automation and transportation systems projects are delivered on time, on schedule, and on budget. This role serves as a key link between engineering, operations, and the customer, ensuring alignment between technical and commercial aspects.

Main activities :

• Define project scope, deliverables, schedules, and resource plans
• Coordinate internal teams and external stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
• Monitor risks, timelines, and budgets and elevate issues as needed
• Ensure project documentation, reporting, and compliance are maintained
• Drive continuous improvement through post‑project analysis and feedback
• Lead claims management activities to ensure compliance with contractual obligations
• Provide specific support to the sales department
• Contribute input and feedback to the R&D department

Skills and attitudes required :

• Problem solving skills in highly critical contexts with multicultural teams.
• Excellent task organization and prioritization skills
• Familiarity with Gantt charts, MS Project, or other project management tools
• Ability to manage technical teams and customer communication simultaneously
• Experience in managing complex industrial or automation projects
• PMP certification or equivalent preferred
• Working knowledge of mechanical / electrical systems is a plus
• Knowledge of Autodesk software (AutoCAD, Navisworks, Inventor)
• Experience in Team System Enterprise (TSE)
