The ideal candidate has over 15 years of experience and will lead SAR payload architecture and collaborate with AI/ML teams. Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and strong analytical skills to optimize image performance. Mission

We are looking for a Senior SAR System Engineer with deep expertise in synthetic aperture radar design, signal processing, and image performance optimization. This role will drive the technical direction of next-generation SAR payload.

Key Accountabilities

• Lead SAR payload architecture, RF chain design, and antenna specifications
• Develop SAR acquisition modes (Stripmap, Spotlight, ScanSAR)
• Define image quality metrics (NESZ, resolution, ambiguity ratios)
• Collaborate with AI / ML teams on onboard processing algorithms

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering General or Aerospace Engineering

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in SAR system development
• Expertise in SAR processing algorithms and RF payload design

• Strong analytical skills and experience with ESA / ECSS environments
