Portfolio Management Analyst / Associate at BPER Banca Corporate & Investment Banking (Milan)

Description

As a Portfolio Management Analyst / Associate within our Structured Finance team, you will have the chance to support the active management of a diversified portfolio of structured finance transactions, gaining exposure and knowledge by :

Responsibilities

• Managing and tracking 30-40 complex transactions, analyzing performance metrics and maintaining high standards of credit oversight;
• Engaging with corporate clients to address waiver requests, support relationship development and identify cross-selling opportunities;
• Developing financial models, analyzing business plans and due diligence aimed at preparing credit applications in collaboration with senior colleagues;
• Participating in the negotiation of amendments, additional credit lines and refinancing proposal working closely with structuring teams and credit functions;
• Preparing periodic reports on portfolio performance, credit exposure and transaction developments for internal stakeholders, including senior management and credit committees.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of relevant work experience in structured finance or financial advisory. Practice in Corporate Finance and Leveraged Finance transactions will be considered as a plus;
• Master degree with excellent academic records;
• Fluency in English;
• Full-time availability;
• Learning agility, outstanding team working and communication skills, analytical mindset;
• Proficiency in financial analysis (profit & loss, balance sheet, cash flow statement) and financial modelling;
• Acquainted with MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel
