Our comprehensive portfolio is built to address the challenges of today and adapt the future, ensuring long-term sustainability and success for our customers.As part of the Accounting team, the Payable & Cash Accountant will play a key role in managing accounting operations, contributing to regulatory adherence and the continuous improvement of administrative processes for the Italian Legal Entities of Ameresco Group.**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES*** Management of Accounts Payable: recording and verification of incoming supplier invoices;* Accounting reconciliation: regular execution of cash and other account reconciliations to ensure consistency and resolution of discrepancies;* Responsible for preparing journal entries primarily related to cash accounts, and other support as needed for the monthly and annual accounting closings;* Monitoring of economic and financial transactions;* Collaboration with the Accounting & Finance department in Milan and the U.S., as needed, to optimize internal processes;**PROFILE*** Diploma in accounting or degree in economics/finance;* Proven experience in similar roles, preferably in Energy companies* In-depth knowledge of accounting principles (ITA GAAP and USA GAAP)* Good command of management software and IT tools (Dynamics, Excel)* Good knowledge of English, both written and spoken* Ability to work in a team and meet deadlines.* Accuracy and attention to detailAMERESCO challenges the brightest, most talented, and creative individuals in the industry by providing an environment that fosters initiative and achievement.
