Partner with the best

As a Mechanical Field Service Engineer, you will play a vital role onsite with our customers. Leading the installation/ maintenance activities, you will work with customers to troubleshoot issues and ensure safe and compliant installations. In front of Baker Hughes customers will be the on-site expert, continually developing your knowledge and skills to deliver innovative solutions.

As a Mechanical Field Service Engineer – Heavy Duty Gas turbines, you will be responsible for:

• Providing technical direction for activities to Customer, junior colleagues and manpower labor crew, in order to ensure safety & quality compliance of the activities carried out.
• Supervising, overhauling, troubleshooting and commissioning Heavy Duty Gas turbines products at customer sites.
• Preparing and updating technical documentation, plans, daily and weekly briefing reports for customers and internal cross-functional teams.
• Ensuring internal training, compliance and quality documentation is updated, followed and completed according to company standards.
• Properly managing company digital tools to retrieve technical documents and management of packing list, bill of material and drawings.

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

• Mechanical Engineering bachelor degree, or equivalent experience.
• Have experience working in a mechanical role in an energy or oil and gas environment (or similar).
• Have good working knowledge of the installation and/or maintenance of rotating equipment.
• Display strong customer service/orientation mindset, experience in interacting with customers on critical conversations/decisions.
• Be skilled at communicating complex technical information to customers and teams tuning the way the message is delivered, based on stakeholders technical understanding.
• Have an EU passport/ European Work permit and be fluent in both Italian & English language (both oral and written).
• Be available to travel most of the time (up to 70%) without geographical restriction, including offshore facilities.
