A global manufacturing company is seeking a Quality Manager to oversee quality management systems at its premises in Zingonia di Verdellino. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, experience in quality management, and a strong command of ISO 9001 standards. The role involves managing teams, developing quality strategies, and ensuring compliance with quality policies. Strong communication skills in English and Italian are essential.

We are currently looking for a Quality Manager with the scope of manage the Quality Inspector and the Quality Manager; having both internal (conformity of the product, quality system compliance, etc) and external impact (suppliers and customers contact, etc).

Flamar, a subsidiary of Molex. During the years Flamar has gained in-depth experience in the production of special electric cables, and today is an important production reality in Europe. From design to manufacture, Flamar offers high quality solutions for the Industrial Automation, Robotics, Audio / Video Transmission, Telecommunications.

The position it’s a work office base in our Flamar premises in Zingonia di Verdellino, Bergamo province (Milan area)

Responsibilities
  • Manage the Quality Management system. Managing the current Molex HDC Quality System (internal and third part audits, management review, documentations, internal calibrations, etc) and support the FLAMAR Quality Manager by following stated Molex policies and procedures.
  • Plan, coordinate and manage the activities of Molex HDC Quality Inspector and the FLAMAR Quality Manager.
  • Develop pro-active approach and strategies to challenge suppliers towards improvements.
  • Manage QNs (customers, suppliers, etc).
  • Develop, maintain and implement new Molex HDC inspection methods (Inspection Plan)
  • Complete internal laboratory qualification tests

Required profile
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
  • Hands on experience in a quality management of production site with reporting.
  • Good working knowledge of ISO 9001 standards.
  • Experience on internal and external Audit.
  • Good English and Italian communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Ability to read and interpret product and assembly drawings
  • Experience with spreadsheet, presentation and word processing software.
  • Knowledge of inspection, test methods and equipment.
  • Good decision making ability and problem solving skills.
  • Good customer and supplier relations skills. Must be sensitive to the customer’s needs (internal and external) and show sense of urgency to address customer issues.
  • Must be a team player who is willing to cooperate with and consider input from supervisor, co-workers and members from other areas of the business.

  • Proficient computer skills (Office and advance excel).
