Maintenance Manager

The Technical & Engineering division of Randstad Professionals, specialized in the recruitment and selection of middle and top management profiles, for a major fast-moving manufacturing company is seeking a Maintenance Manager.

The plant operates continuously, H24, from Monday to Sunday. The position requires working 5 days a week (Rest days: 1 midweek rest day and 1 rest day on either Saturday or Sunday).

Reporting directly to the Plant Manager, the Maintenance Manager will have the following responsibilities:

  • Lead the maintenance staff (1 supervisor, 10 technicians, and 1 spare parts manager) to ensure high‑quality standards while staying within the department's budget.
  • Develop preventive maintenance procedures that are cost‑effective and extend the operational life of the equipment.
  • Assist workers in diagnosing machinery and equipment malfunctions and in preparing requests to determine the number of spare parts to keep in inventory.
  • Review production schedules and estimate the labor requirements to complete the assigned tasks.
  • Serve as a member of the safety committee and provide technical support for all safety projects.
  • Ensure that equipment and facilities are maintained in safe, operational conditions and/or organize replacement/upgrades.
  • Establish procedures and contacts with external providers to ensure timely equipment repairs.
  • Analyze production downtime reports and implement an action plan to increase efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Engineering.
  • At least 5 years of experience in the specific role.
  • Fluent in Technical English.
  • Strong focus on Quality and Safety issues.
  • Availability to work the indicated schedule.
