Honeywell Life Sciences provides solutions for quality management, automation, and cybersecurity (OT) supporting the pharmaceutical and biotech industries. Our solutions help companies optimize regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, and risk reduction.

We are seeking an Account Executive to join the Life Sciences team in Italy.

The ideal candidate has experience and proven success in selling software solutions to the Life Sciences industry in Italy and the Mediterranean area, particularly Greece and Turkey.

They will be responsible for the entire sales process from start to finish, exceeding targets by acquiring new clients and expanding existing accounts.

With a strong focus on value-based selling, ROI, and business results, they will collaborate with an international team to deliver impactful solutions, staying ahead of client needs, technological trends, and the competitive landscape.

  • Lead client interactions, guiding them through their digital transformation journey using Honeywell's extensive software portfolio, including digital transformation, IoT, quality management (eQMS), industrial automation, cybersecurity, Building Automation, and more.
  • Acquire new license and software service orders from existing and new clients.
  • Manage the entire sales process to ensure results aligned with key KPIs, with a focus on new business sales while expanding current presence.
  • Understand the technological landscape of the assigned account, strategic growth plans, technological strategy, and competitive environment.
  • Develop and execute account plans and stakeholder mapping, addressing priorities and critical points of interest.
  • Optimize sales cycles using value-based sales methodologies, focusing on business case development, ROI, and business outcomes.
  • Require 5-8 years of experience in software sales, particularly in enterprise software solutions.
  • Strong experience in SaaS sales.
  • Experience selling Industry 4.0 software solutions in manufacturing sectors.
  • Experience selling eQMS software solutions is a plus.
  • Fluent in Italian (native) and English.

Nice to have:

  • Experience selling software to the Life Sciences industry (Pharmaceuticals, Biopharma, Medical Devices).
  • Proven ability to engage C-level contacts for solution sales, establishing peer relationships, articulating strategic vision, and closing deals with business, IT, and Operations leaders.
  • Understanding of customer purchasing and decision-making processes; demonstrated ability to work effectively at all levels and influence key decision-makers.
  • Knowledge of integrated functional architectures, financial models, technology impact, and the ability to translate business needs into functional requirements.
