KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER – ENGINEERING CONSULTING, CONSUMER ELECTRONICS DOMAIN

Overview :
For a major project in Lombardia, Milan, we seek an experienced Key Account Manager to develop and maintain a strategic partnership with a key Client in the Consumer Electronics domain, focusing on Product Testing and Validation engineering operations.
The ideal candidate will oversee Client relationship management, drive business development, and ensure the successful delivery of engineering services, meeting both Client satisfaction and business targets.
Role Responsibilities :
- Manage Client relationships with operational personnel
- Build a portfolio and drive revenue within the account through Opportunity Management: Prospect, Evaluate, Propose, Close
- Identify new business opportunities, present concepts to clients, and influence additional business based on capabilities and past performance
- Conduct research, map accounts and competitors, deliver client presentations, prepare estimates, proposals, and negotiate
- Collaborate with Delivery Managers to address delivery issues affecting the project
- Manage multiple projects and resources across different delivery teams
- Develop and promote go-to-market solutions to clients within the account
- Work with Solutions Leaders to craft customized solutions and drive revenue and delivery
- Handle account planning and governance, including planning, selling, delivering, and managing
- Create and maintain an Account Plan outlining relationships, opportunities, revenue targets, threats, and weaknesses
- Make pricing decisions within the Master Services Agreement scope
- Support pre-sales and new business outside the current scope
- Build future alliances with relevant vendors
- Prioritize prospects and opportunities, and develop a sales plan
- Drive service offerings and capabilities to increase revenue
- Set and meet profitability and pricing targets
Work Experience & Skills :
- Over 6 years of experience in sales, relationship, or account management
- Experience managing accounts worth $4-6 million is desirable
- Knowledge of specific verticals and software development
- Strong background in engineering services sales and business development
- Experience in proposal creation, leading cross-functional teams, and delivering presentations
- Leadership, interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
- Experience managing complex sales processes and consultative campaigns
- Proficiency in sales presentations and executive communications
- Excellent networking and relationship-building skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with CRM software
- Experience working within a global delivery model with dispersed teams
- Technical acumen with end-to-end sales, delivery, and transition experience
- Self-motivated and independent
- Ability to build trust and forge relationships within and outside the organization
