A leading insurance company is seeking a Junior Risk Prevention Engineer to join their team in Italy. You will be responsible for developing and executing the risk prevention strategy for corporate client and construction risks while collaborating with underwriting areas. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Engineering and expertise in risk assessment, along with strong communication skills. This role is open for candidates in Milano, Bologna or Roma.

• Minimum expertise in risk assessment for property, risk engineering and liability business.

• Ensuring risk visits and providing Allianz group standard reporting on risk assessment.
• Implementing the Risk Assessment Review Criteria plan.
• Proactively liaising with underwriting areas to support underwriting activities.

Reporting to the Risk Prevention Engineering Team, you will develop and execute the risk prevention strategy for Corporate Client and Construction risks in the Italian market. With strong ties to the Group, you will also support the local strategy to achieve the Allianz Mid Corporate growth and profitability targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensuring risk visits and providing Allianz group standard reporting on risk assessment and risk improvement.
• Implementing consistently the Risk Assessment Review Criteria plan.
• Proactively liaising with underwriting areas to support underwriting activities and a comprehensive risk understanding.
• Ensuring engineering consistency, discipline, and adherence to all corporate guidelines, including Rules and Principles, corporate governance rules and local regulatory framework.
• Proactively supporting the underwriting unit to develop and implement new or modified products.

Key Requirements / Skills / Experience

• Master’s degree in Industrial, Civil, Construction or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum expertise in risk assessment, both corporate and construction, for property, risk engineering and liability business.
• Communication skills.
• Ability to work in an international organization.
• Data analytics.
• Fluent in English (both written and spoken).
• Very good knowledge of Office 365 and other collaborative tools.
