Une entreprise leader dans les services IT recherche un Junior Hardware Test Engineer pour valider et tester des produits matériels dans le domaine de l'optique. La mission implique de travailler dans une équipe expérimentée, d'interagir avec plusieurs équipes fonctionnelles et de garantir la qualité des produits tout au long de leur cycle de développement. Les candidats doivent avoir un Master en ingénierie et des compétences en programmation.

Competenze

  • Diplôme en ingénierie électronique ou télécommunications requis.
  • Connaissances en ingénierie optique au moins au niveau académique.
  • Max 1 an d'expérience dans les entreprises de télécommunication, les nouveaux diplômés sont évalués.

Mansioni

As part of the staffing increase of Tangity Product Development team, NTT DATA is looking for a Junior Hardware Test Engineer.

The selected candidate will join the HW Product Validation team for testing new products in the High-End Routing and Optical market segments. Key role of the Hardware Test Engineer is to work in a global environment to validate and bring to production complex and dense electronic blades with high-speed signals and complex ASICS and Optical Components.

The Hardware Test Engineer will interface with several cross-functional teams like HW Design, SW Design, Manufacturing and Product Engineering to develop high quality products.

Moreover, the HW Test Engineer plays a key role in ensure the quality, reliability and compliance of the HW Products throughout the development lifecycle.

This is a great opportunity to work with an experienced team that has broad exposure and influence in product development and performance for a provider of networking technology.

Responsibilities:

• Validate the compliance to internal specs as well as industry standards and test performances of Optical HW devices such as muxponders, amplifiers, pluggable components used in DWDM systems.

• Define the test process and procedure, write complete unit and system-level test plans for the unit and/or the entire product line.

• Implement unit and system-level testing, debug, isolate, analyze sophisticated problems, and help facilitate the root cause, resolution, and closure.

• Executing tests to identify defects and malfunctions in the system.

• Analyzing test results to identify issues and root causes.

• Support HW/SW Design Engineers and provide feedback on complex issues.

• Documenting test results, defects, and fixes in a clear and concise manner.

• Reporting on test progress and results to stakeholders.

Mandatory Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering or Telecommunications.

• Knowledge of Optical Engineering fundamentals at least at academic level.

• Max 1 year of experience in telecommunication companies (smart newly graduated profiles can also be evaluated).

• Knowledge of or experience with Bash, Python, or other scripting languages or automation tools.

• Self-motivated, highly autonomous

• Curious and willing to learn

• Creative problem-solving skills and excellent troubleshooting/debugging skills.

• Effective communication skills to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

• Fluent written and spoken English knowledge.

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of HW design and implementation processes.

• Knowledge of HW verification and HW emulation/debugging methodologies and tools.

• Experience in Optical or Electronic Design and Verification Testing is a strong plus

Workplace: 100% on-site in Vimercate (MB).
