A leading logistics company in Milan is seeking a Buyer / Junior Buyer to manage procurement documentation, evaluate tenders, and support vendor management. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of English and familiarity with EPC/EPCI contracts. This role offers the opportunity for growth in a challenging environment.

Overview

KLN Project Group (formerly Kerry Project Logistics Group, for both EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) and Logistics divisions) is looking for a Buyer / Junior Buyer to join its staff.

The resource will be part of the Procurement and Subcontracting Team in direct report to the Head of Supply Chain.

Responsibilities

• Organize the documentation required for the procurement of works, supplies, or services, analyze the documentation provided by the requesting Units and prepare the documentation used as the basis for the tender.
• Follow up with the Procurement and Tender process, including evaluation of offers from administrative and economic point of view, follow up with the commercial / contractual negotiation, supporting Technical Unit with the technical evaluation of offers.
• Support the preparation of Procurement Standard documentation (contractual standard template, drafting of internal Memorandum, tender standard documentation, etc.).
• Support the Vendor Management and Contract Administrator coordinator in all activities aimed to qualified vendors and in all the activities for the support of the Project teams dealing with Projects in execution for all the contracts related matters.
• Good knowledge of EPC / EPCI contracts is preferable.
• Good knowledge of English language (both written and spoken).
