Would you like to join the leading international intergovernmental organization? The Centre for Maritime Research and Experimentation (CMRE) is an established, world‑class scientific research and experimentation facility that organizes and conducts scientific research and technology development centred on the maritime domain. It delivers innovative and field‑tested science and technology (S&T) solutions to address defence and security needs of the Alliance.

Responsibilities
  • Building real‑time dashboards, allocating costs accurately to teams/projects, and providing transparent reports.
  • Identifying savings via resource rightsizing, managing commitments (RIs/Savings Plans), finding unused resources, and implementing automation.
  • Developing budgets, monitoring spending against forecasts, and alerting on anomalies.
  • Acting as a liaison between Finance, Engineering, and Operations, promoting cost awareness, and driving best practices.
  • Ensuring compliance with financial policies and establishing accountability.
Essential Qualifications & Experience
  • A minimum requirement of a bachelor’s degree at a nationally recognised/certified University in an information systems, physics or electronics related scientific or engineering discipline, or other relevant scientific discipline, and 2 years post‑related experience.
  • A minimum of 3 years of professional background in technology procurement, vendor management, and financial operations with experience in technical requirement analysis, and contract/SLA evaluation.
  • Experience with data and services procurement in the defence domain (satellite imagery, ISR data, or similar specialised technical services) is highly valued.
  • Professional experience with project management tools, collaboration platforms, and documentation systems (e.g. Azure DevOps, JIRA, etc.)
  • Understanding of IT service delivery, operational workflows, and procurement processes.
  • Good level of spoken and written English.
