About you

As the HR Generalist for Kings League across Italy, France and Germany—you are a collaborative business partner, trusted advisor, and champion of people. You bridge operations and strategy, working closely with local teams, hiring managers, and cross‑functional partners to deliver HR solutions that directly enable the league’s growth and success. You are detail‑oriented yet strategic, ensuring contracts, payroll, and HR data are accurate and compliant, while also supporting larger initiatives that shape culture, engagement, and player wellbeing.

You are adaptable, culturally aware, and proactive, capable of balancing the unique needs of multiple countries, employees, and athletes, while driving initiatives that support both day‑to‑day operations and long‑term organizational goals.

Main Responsibilities
  • Coordinate core people operations—including contract administration, payroll inputs, and maintaining accurate and compliant employee and player data—ensuring data integrity and operational continuity across all three countries.
  • Partner with Legal, Finance, and Competition teams to ensure full compliance with labour laws and league regulations, coordinating accurate contracts, documentation, and risk‑mitigation processes.
  • Act as a collaborative point of contact with competition and operational teams to support on‑ground staff and players, working with insurance, and welfare partners to uphold professional standards, and resolve day‑to‑day support needs.
  • Collaborate with local teams across Italy, France, and Germany to implement HR practices that align with Kings League culture while supporting country‑specific operational needs for both employees and players.
  • Work closely with hiring managers and team leads to manage the day‑to‑day talent lifecycle—onboarding, training coordination, performance processes—ensuring people operations directly support business and competition goals.
  • Support workforce and player planning by advising hiring managers on staffing needs, player‑related considerations, and people processes that enable teams to operate effectively.
  • Collaborate with the broader People team to deliver larger cross‑functional initiatives and projects that strengthen People operations and contribute to organizational goals.
Requirements
  • 3–4 years of HR experience, ideally in a generalist or people operations role.
  • Strong HR operations skills (contracts, onboarding, payroll coordination, HR systems).
  • Experience working across multiple European countries; knowledge of Italy, France, or Germany labour laws is a strong plus.
  • Background in sports, entertainment, or events is beneficial.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities with a multicultural mindset.
  • Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage sensitive information.
