A leading sporting goods manufacturer in Asolo is seeking a Footwear CAD Product Engineer to facilitate 2D/3D modeling and manage production information within the Racing Department. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, 5 years of experience in footwear or automotive industries, and expertise in CATIA. This full-time position offers a chance to contribute to innovative product development while ensuring quality and communication with stakeholders.

Posizione:

We are currently looking for a skilled FOOTWEAR CAD PRODUCT ENGINEER to join our Racing Department to take on a pivotal position in product development so to create innovative, high-quality and technical products.

Responsibilities

• 2D/3D modeling for product engineering;
• Production information flow management, facilitating communication and exchange of information between the Footwear Department and internal and external stakeholders;
• Make LAB test requirement for each item necessary for footwear collections (outsole, plastic parts, mechanism), linked to Activity Plan properly set;
• Collect the Quality Control docs for approval process (QC drawing starting from available 3D files; PPT file for QC checking);
• Labelling for approval to distribute to site production/ internal department as per QC procedure;
• Regular communication with production site and nominated supplier for R&D development activities (material and flat sheet samples / injected parts / technical datasheet alignment);
• Discuss and implements corrective actions when required, to maintain adherence to product design and prevent/resolve material and/or process-related defects;
• Data record for all technical specification and standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Mechanical engineer is preferable;
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in automotive or Footwear industries;
• 3D CAD knowledge CATIA surface modelling is a must have;
• Good communicative skills;
• Fluency in English.
