The Aircraft Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing routine inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs including airframe structures, engines and aircraft systems. This position will be based in Milan, Italy at Milan Linate Airport.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform all airframe and powerplant repairs and modifications required to meet company and regulatory requirements.
  • Remove and disassemble defective parts; assemble and install replacement parts and test aircraft systems.
  • Operate all power tools and equipment necessary to accomplish job assignments.
  • Complete all required maintenance records accurately, including reporting times required to accomplish assigned tasks.
  • Support all company policies and safety programs, including OSHA and EPA regulations.
  • Interpret technical manuals, drawings, and blueprints.
  • Present a clean and neat work area.
  • Demonstrate professionalism and deliver satisfaction to internal/external customers.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • B1 or B1/B2 License.
  • B1.3 for rotary aircraft desired.
  • UK CAA and EASA License.
  • Proven experience in aviation (corporate aircraft experience preferred).
  • Type ratings on GVI, EMB550, and S76 desired.
  • Good working knowledge of EASA/UK CAA: Part 145, Part M, Part CAMO, Part 21.

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Legal ability to work in Europe and/or the UK and ability to travel in and out of the UK/EU and US.
  • Highly motivated and able to work effectively under pressure and time constraints.
  • Ability to multi-task within a team environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of Windows and MS Office programs.
  • Proven inspection competencies.
  • Detail-oriented and well organized; excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
  • Ideally possess own set of hand tools; specialized aircraft tooling will be furnished by the company.
  • Must maintain a valid driver’s license.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to various extreme weather conditions, and the noise level in the work environment can be loud.

  • Frequently lift and move up to 5Kg and occasionally lift and move up to 22.5 KG.
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
