Finance Business Partner

In this role you will report to the Finance Director and be responsible for delivering business insights, sales forecasting, performance analysis and decision support to the BU Director and Brand Teams. You will work as an internal consultant to the cross functional teams, while delivering clear market insights and sound business acumen, through Market Analysis, Market Research, Business Planning/Forecasting, Competitive Intelligence and strong internal networking.

Responsibilities
  • Partnership with the BU Director for all finance aspects related to the Business Unit management.
  • Apply in-depth knowledge and expertise to contribute to the formulation of product strategy, in conjunction with regional and local Brand Teams, to ensure that resource allocation is optimised across brands and teams.
  • Lead Long Range Planning, Sales Forecasting and Sales Budgeting processes for the Affiliate; present insights and advise Local Management and Regional Management.
  • Provide an objective and informed point of view to challenge Business Unit Directors (BUDs) and other stakeholders, through analysis of both internal and external (IMS) datasets.
  • Analyse spending and project implementation.
  • Analyse sales drivers, perform root cause analysis and suggest remediation plan.
  • Develop and champion best-practice within the local Business Planning & Analysis team.
Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in business administration or a science-based field.
  • Minimum 2 years senior experience of Market Analysis, Planning and Forecasting within the pharma industry, with a successful track record.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically to support key business decisions and to establish strong relationships with senior leaders.
  • Technical expert in Market Analysis and Forecasting.
  • Knowledge of databases and OLAP applications (Tableau, Business Objects, SAP etc).
  • Experience of forecast consolidation for GM presentation.
  • Track record of bringing projects to a successful completion.
  • Outstanding use of Excel, Powerpoint, Reporting tool and AI.
  • Fluency in English, both written and oral.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment.
