Career Opportunities: FA Italy Territory Account Manager (11233)

We are looking for an Italian Territory Account Manager reporting directly to the Italian Sales Manager. He / She will have the responsibility for Sensors & Safety Product Groups in a specific Area. The role will be in sales to Partners and Direct Customers, End User with the main goal to successfully close projects and winning new ones.

Role Mission

The role will be in sales to Partners and Direct Customers, End User with the main goal to successfully close projects and winning new ones.

Key Responsibilities

  • After an appropriate training, full responsibility for selling, Sensors & Safety products in the defined Italian sales area of Lombardia East (BG, BS, MN, CR, LO)
  • Successful management of the existing customer base and acquisition of new customers.
  • Building long-term relationships with current partners and promoting, Sensors & Safety products to new ones.
  • Achieve the sales targets for the defined sales territory.
  • Manage Contracts & Benefit Packages.
  • Manage the account plan, perform visits, manage Price Exceptions, manage Sales Forecast, sales monitoring and KPIs
  • Identify the needs of Special Product Requests (SPRs) engaging the Datasensing Technical Community and prioritizing Customer Technical Support activities.
  • Participation in the development of sales strategies.
  • Preparation and realization of presentations at the customer's premises.
  • Travel for 60% of time.

Requirements

• Education: High school diploma, or Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in a technical or related field
• Languages: Italian: fluent both verbal and written; English (preferable but not mandatory)
• Experience: From 3–5+ years of experience in the field

Other Information & Specific Skills

  • Able in sales for sensors and safety, preferrable if is coming from competitors
  • Negotiation and communication skills
  • Some technical skills in sensors market
  • Sales working experience of major sensor brands, including but not limited to P&F, Leuze, IFM, Balluff, Wenglor, SICK, Keyence, etc.
  • It can also have experience in sales in distributors for sensors
  • Experience in automation components market
