To strengthen its enterprise architecture capabilities, Datwyler IT Services is looking for an experienced Enterprise Architect. This is a key leadership role responsible for defining, developing, and overseeing the organization's IT architecture strategy, with a strong focus on optimizing the SAP ecosystem and ensuring alignment between business goals and technology frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Define and build the enterprise architecture framework from the ground up, aligned with SAP-centric strategies and business objectives
• Establish technology standards, principles, and guidelines focused on SAP integration and optimization
• Design scalable, secure, and efficient architectures to meet current and future business needs
• Oversee the design, implementation, and enhancement of enterprise systems, including SAP S/4HANA and SAP Business Technology Platform
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to translate business requirements into architectural solutions and optimize SAP modules for manufacturing, supply chain, finance, and HR processes
• Create and execute the technology roadmap to modernize legacy systems and drive digital transformation
• Partner with IT teams, business units, and external vendors to deliver strategic initiatives
• Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership on SAP capabilities, technology trends, and risks
• Establish governance processes to assess and prioritize IT and SAP initiatives based on strategic value and ROI
• Provide technical leadership to IT and SAP teams, fostering knowledge sharing and continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• At least 8 years of proven experience in IT architecture, systems integration, or enterprise-wide solution design
• Experience with ERP, CRM, HR, and Finance systems, preferably gained in a manufacturing or industrial context
• Strong knowledge of SAP environments (S/4HANA, SAP Business Technology Platform)
• Expertise in enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF or Zachman
• Proficiency in software development methodologies, integration technologies, and API management
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, BTP) and hybrid environments
• Understanding of cybersecurity best practices and data governance frameworks
• Familiarity with emerging technologies such as IoT, AI/ML, and blockchain
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
