A leading engineering firm in Italy is seeking an experienced Electrical Technician to design and create electrical diagrams and layouts for industrial plants. The ideal candidate will have a technical diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, extensive experience with CAD software, and a strong understanding of CEI regulations. This position involves collaborating with technical teams and ensuring the accuracy of documentation according to current regulations.

Competenze

• At least 2-4 years’ experience as a draughtsman or electrical technician in the industrial sector.
• Excellent knowledge of electrical CAD software.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams.

The candidate will work with the technical team to design and create electrical diagrams, layouts and technical documentation for industrial plants, electrical panels and automation systems.

The candidate will use electrical CAD software to create drawings, ensuring the correct management and updating of technical documentation in accordance with current regulations and customer specifications.

The candidate will be responsible for developing electrical diagrams, layouts and wiring using dedicated software.

They will draft technical project documentation and collaborate with designers and site technicians to define technical solutions.

They will make changes and updates to existing drawings based on order variations, ensuring the consistency and accuracy of the documentation with respect to CEI regulations and company standards.

Requirements

• Technical diploma in electrical engineering, electronics or mechatronics, or degree in Electrical Engineering/Automation.
• At least 2–4 years’ experience as a draughtsman or electrical technician in the industrial or plant engineering sector.
• Excellent knowledge of electrical CAD software.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and plant layouts.
• Knowledge of CEI electrical regulations and electrical safety principles.
• Familiarity with bills of materials, material lists and workshop documentation.
• Good knowledge of electrical components (contactors, relays, PLCs, power supplies, switches, sensors).
• Proficiency in the main IT tools (Office package).
