Who we are

We are Seares, a Tuscany company born in 2018, with the goal to change the way every floating body moor and anchor across the seven seas. We produce the most innovative hydraulic and mechatronic mooring system called Seadamp. Seares will be one of the main partners in the ports and marinas digital transition, in the offshore anchoring industry and in the Yacht and Superyacht mooring.

Who are we looking for?

Our project is ambitious and challenging, that’s why we’re looking a brave industrial engineer with 3 - 5 years of experience in:

• executing the mechanical development and producing the technical documentation (Specifications, Drawings, BoM, Test plans, etc.)
• interfacing with technical activities of products and processes development, internally and eventually with partners/suppliers;
• supporting and providing engineering expertise to the other departments;
• working in synergy with electronic engineers to develop mechatronic products;
• working in cross‑functional teams with program manager, manufacturing, quality, purchasing and R&D team;
• interfacing with clients, at a global level;
• Problem‑solving attitude.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechatronic (preferred), Mechanical, Aeronautical, Naval Engineering
• 3‑5 years of experience in mechanical system design and development
• Expert proficiency in CAD (SolidWorks preferred) – 3D modeling, CAM generation, PDM management, FEM simulations
• Experience in FMEA/Risk Analysis and Design Review
• Professional fluency in both Italian and English
• Willingness to relocate to Livorno area for full‑time production oversight

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in marine or offshore applications
• Experience with industrial automation, sensors, hydraulics and control systems
• Experience in CAE modelization (FEM, dynamic models, etc.)
• Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (ProfiNET, EtherCAT, CanOpen)
• Knowledge of IoT solutions for remote monitoring and control
• International work experience or collaboration with global teams
• Familiarity with robotics and vision systems integration
• Master’s degree are preferred

COMPREHENSIVE COMPENSATION PACKAGE

Based on CCNL Metalmeccanici CONFAPI. Base Salary (RAL): based on the experience + Variable Component. Level 5 CCNL Metalmeccanici CONFAPI. Permanent contract with full CCNL protections.
