A leading consulting firm is seeking a Cloud DevOps Engineer for a short-term Proof of Concept in the Food & Beverage sector. The role involves designing and managing Cloud infrastructures using Terraform, automating deployment processes with Ansible, and working in Windows environments. Ideal candidates should have strong expertise in DevOps practices and excellent communication skills. The position is remote and candidates must be able to work independently.

Cloud DevOps Engineer (Proof of Concept) – Food & Beverage Sector

Role: Cloud DevOps Engineer

Workload: Full-time (short-term PoC)

Location: Remote from Italy

Language: English and Italian

Project Context

Our client in the Food & Beverage sector is seeking a Cloud DevOps Engineer to support the implementation of a Proof of Concept (PoC). The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation, and provisioning, with a particular focus on Windows environments.

Main Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage Cloud infrastructures using Terraform and IaC methodologies.
• Automate configuration and deployment processes with Ansible and Ansible Packer.
• Support migration, optimization, and management of resources in Windows environments.
• Collaborate with internal technical teams to define and execute the Proof of Concept.
• Ensure best practices for security, scalability, and resilience in the infrastructure.

Technical Requirements

• Excellent knowledge of Terraform and principles of Infrastructure as Code.
• Solid experience with Ansible and Ansible Packer.
• Strong background in Windows environments (servers, services, automation).
• Familiarity with key DevOps tools (CI / CD pipelines, Git versioning).
• Experience with Microsoft Azure is a plus but not mandatory.
• Ability to work independently on short-term projects (PoC).
• Strong problem-solving attitude, results orientation, and excellent communication skills.
