MISSIONS

As the main responsible in Italy for the Construction Department, you will report directly to the Construction Director based in Spain.

The Construction Team Leader F / M / NB will be responsible for:

  • Coordinating local construction teams and ensuring compliance with procedures, objectives, and reporting requirements.
  • Acting as the main point of contact between construction, development, purchasing, financing, and management control departments.
  • Overseeing project implementation: schedules, budgets, quality, customer interface, and issue resolution.
  • Leading site managers and training new team members for efficient onboarding.
  • Sourcing and evaluating subcontractors; leading RFQs and technical assessments.
  • Managing construction projects from authorization to completion, ensuring deadlines, costs, and quality standards are met.
  • Collaborating with the Design Office to address site and construction constraints.
  • Monitoring and reporting on budgets, progress, and risks; proposing solutions for discrepancies.
  • Organizing and leading site meetings; ensuring safety and quality standards are strictly enforced.
  • Supporting operations and maintenance teams during the project warranty period.

PROFILE

  • You have at least an engineering university degree (civil, industrial, or electrical) to a master’s degree and have +10 years of experience in project management (mainly photovoltaic and wind).
  • Good technical knowledge in photovoltaic, electricity, and building.
  • As the main responsible for the construction department in Italy, you have a good level of communication and transparency, are organized, rigorous, autonomous, and have a developed sense of responsibility.
  • You need to have a good understanding of local administration permits and procedures (Genio Civile, Regolamento nazionale delle Terre e rocce da scavo, Direttore dei Lavori, etc.).
  • You will be required to travel 25% of your time to project locations, including internationally if needed.
  • Being a native Italian speaker and fluent in English is mandatory.
