We are seeking a Computer Vision Engineer & AI Specialist with strong expertise in general computer vision techniques, model training for image-based tasks, and DevOps practices. The ideal candidate will lead a small international technical team and ensure the successful design, deployment, and maintenance of AI solutions in real‑time environments.

This role requires advanced technical skills, hands‑on experience with end‑to‑end AI pipelines, and excellent communication in English to collaborate effectively with global stakeholders.

Work Location

The position is primarily remote, with occasional on‑site presence required in Milan or Turin, based on the candidate’s convenience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor a cross‑functional team of 2‑3 engineers in developing computer vision solutions.
  • Design, train, and optimize image‑based models, including object detection, segmentation, OCR, and multi‑object tracking.
  • Manage the full AI lifecycle: data collection, annotation, training, evaluation, deployment, and monitoring.
  • Implement and maintain DevOps workflows for AI systems using Dockerized architectures, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud services (Azure).
  • Ensure robustness and scalability of deployed solutions in real‑time operational environments.
  • Communicate effectively with international teams and stakeholders.
Profile
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Proven experience in computer vision model development and training.
  • Strong proficiency in Python, OpenCV, and PyTorch.
  • Solid knowledge of DevOps practices: Docker, Docker Compose, CI/CD, and cloud deployment.
  • Advanced understanding of:
    • Object detection and segmentation
    • OCR and text recognition
    • Multi‑camera tracking and data fusion
  • Fluent English (C1 level) for technical and business communication.
Other Skills
