A leading packaging solutions company is looking for a Complete Line Expert in Parma, Italy. In this role, you will be responsible for the technical performance of complete lines and will work closely with product managers. Candidates should have strong technical knowledge related to the packaging industry, excellent communication skills, and the ability to design complex line structures. Additional languages are an advantage. Competitive salary and global travel required.

The Complete Line Expert is responsible for the technical performance of SIDEL complete lines. Working with the Complete Line Product Managers, they define the roadmap and refinements based on market inputs. They are highly integrated with Product Managers to merge all machines (SIDEL and 3PE) into a single solution (the complete line).

Your Mission

The role of the Complete Line Expert focuses on the following responsibilities:

• Defining standards for pre-contracting layouts, including line concept, V-Graph, accumulation times, and line performances
• Designing rules and layouts for the Best Practice Line program
• Defining mechanical interfaces between machines in the line
• Determining the level of complexity for the complete line
• Owning the simulation software (PacSi)
• Calculating TCO and providing training
• Providing line expertise in pre-contracting, layout, and simulation capabilities to support regions on complex deals or new requests, including configuration for competitiveness (via configuration, partners, layout)
• Performing simulations for the complete line (performance, TCO, OEE, changeover)

Your Profile

Level of education and languages:

• Additional languages (French, Italian, Chinese) are an advantage

Required experience and skills:

• Good technical knowledge related to the Packaging industry or similar industries
• Strong competence in beverage line layout
• Strong knowledge of system control, data acquisition, and network architecture
• Experience with product development and/or innovation is a plus
• Good understanding of complete line concepts, modular architecture, and configurability
• Basic understanding of P&L or profitability analysis
• Excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively communicate at all levels and functions
• Availability for worldwide short-term business trips
